New visions and goals

Good News! Good News!!! The Valley School District is interested in holding Adult Education Classes and Computer Classes! That's 2 of the visions and if computer classes were held, high speed Internet would become available! Whoo Hoo!!! We also are incorporating our Blog news into the Valley School paper as well. Thank you Valley School!

A wonderful idea was presented by one of the group members. The Valley Co-Op Market. It would be opened one day a week and it would be for the local Valley community. People could trade, barter, buy, and sell things that is locally made and grown. Quilts could be sold, along with jewelry, possibly food, produce, and wood. Consignment would also possibly be made available.
The person who thought up this idea is willing to donate lots to have the market made available. The group also thought that the market could be held at the Bus Garage or even the old Valley Church when the new one is completed.
The group also thinks that it would be a good idea to possibly have a small restroom with an information center for people to advertise. It would also have a booth on one side where things could take place. For example, the Girl and Boy Scouts could sell their cookies and popcorn there.
Another idea was to buy the Park. That way, endless activities could be held there.
Be sure to obtain a copy of the school district news paper called "The Eagle".
If you're part of the Horizons Study Group, make sure to look over the book and think about smaller projects that the rest of the group could help with.
